Website early stages and development

This is a screenshot of what our website looked like to begin with, we had a rough idea of what we wanted the website to look like, but wasn't completely sure, so we decided to play around with backgrounds, effects, images and animations. We found that the colours were very important, as we wanted to match them with our synergy colour, being a dark red, which is featured throughout not only our music video, but our photoshoots and digipaks also. We decided to make changes to the background, by adding Luella's face, as it instantly grabbed the audience, so that they are aware of who the artist is. We also changed the font to match the album cover and digipak, so that it not only represented the artists style, but also that it was significant and not just random.

We also then added other images from the photo shoot, which we felt gave the website a more professional feel. As well as uploading the album cover for Luella, with social media links and song links, making it seem even more professional. We then wanted to focus on merchandise, making that seem as professional as possible also, by creating personalised accessories and clothing for 'Luella'. Our creativity for this, was that we wanted to keep it as simple as possible, in order to reach out to as wide of a target audience as possible, we also wanted to do a variety of objects, giving the 'fans' more of a variety and choice. We spent a lot of time and effort on the website, and wanted to make it look as professional as possible. We did a variety of website drafts in order to ensure we got the right one.
