30 second breakdown

'Explosions'- Ellie Goulding
We decided to use Ellie Goulding for this as we found she was a really good inspiration and role model that we liked to follow regarding Luellas look and way she performs. Ellie comes across as an everyday normal girl and not so much a celebrity. This is exactly how we wanted Luella to come across as. We also like the black and white effect from these shots as we wanted to add in a few black and white scenes into our music video to create a different effect, rather than just all normal colour.

0-2 seconds- Ellie casually sitting on the train.

3-5 seconds- Natural shot of Ellie laughing.

6-10 seconds- About to perform

11-12 seconds- The crowd going wild.

13-15 seconds- Ellie singing to everyone.

16-18 seconds- Swapping back to her singing alone and not in front of a crowd.

19-20 seconds- Going back to the live performance.

21-26 seconds-

27-28 seconds-

29-30 seconds-

I have learnt how many changes a music video should have and from this, it will help me to apply this to mine and Megan's music video. We now know that having the same thing on screen for too long can be boring and we want the audience to be engaged in the video and not want to take their eyes off of it. A variation of different clips also keeps the audience wondering what is going to happen next, we do not want the audience to guess or expect what will happen next. We want the unknown.
